Welcome To The Beehive
A few years ago (circa 2004) I decided to start writing what I hoped would become a complete book. I don't consider myself a professional writer but I do consider myself a creative person and putting thoughts in my head down on paper (or in this case onto my computer) is a creative process. I decided to write about getting started in the world of business. Over the course of several months, while criss-crossing North America on long business flights, I wrote a book that I call Welcome To The Beehive.
One of the first questions that comes to people's minds when they learn that I wrote this book is, "What do you think you know about business?" I'll admit that I'm not an expert in the field of business, whatever that means. But I do have a point of view. I know that challenges that I've faced over the years. I know what I've done to address those challenges. Up to know (knock on wood) I've been successful enough that I've been able to stay constantly employed while achieving many of my personal goals. So I decided to share my point of view and experiences with the world.

Beginners Guides
I'm a big fan of open source technologies and online media publishing. I've spent enough of my spare time practicing in both of these areas to write and continually maintain a pair of guidebooks meant to help beginners who are just getting started. Beginners Guide To Drupal is a document that provides an overview of the Drupal open source content management platform. Beginners Guide To Podcasting offers up the basics about getting started as a publisher of web based audio or video.
